World record author!
Mary Mars began writing in 2018 during a debilitating illness. Only able to move from elbows to fingertips without excruciating pain, she wrote 22 hours every day for months. Her first novel took only ten days to write. She completed 4 more novels that summer. Feeling better that fall, she wrote book 6 during the school year and the next 5 books the following summer. She fell ill again, and it took several months to complete book 12.
Mary published all 12 thrillers on the same day, setting a world record. She officially launched her thriller series in Las Vegas on November 18, 2022, and is currently writing book 13, Rust & Steel to be published Fall 2023.
Proceeds from the Melody Winters Saga help provide replacement pianos for 5 central Ohio recreation centers where Mary’s been teaching piano and other instrumental lessons for 20 years at just $25 for 6 lessons.
You can also support the program by buying a glittery bookmark depicted here. Send $1.00 and a S.A.S.E. to PO. Box 27651, Columbus, Ohio 43227. Be sure to tell us your favorite color!
Mary resides in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, a sweet little dog, and an adorable but feral front porch kitty.
